About Me
My name is Carolina. I am originally from Argentina and have been living in the United States since 2005. Art has always been an important part of my life. Over the years, I explored oil and acrylic painting, but in 2021 I discovered a deep connection with watercolor—a medium that continues to inspire and challenge me every day.
Since January 2024, I have maintained a daily drawing practice using an art journal with creative prompts. This habit has strengthened my skills, creativity, and confidence, allowing me to experiment freely and stay consistently connected to my artistic process.
My work is inspired by nature, and I specialize in watercolor paintings of florals, foliage, birds, seascapes, and landscapes. I love watercolor for its transparency, fluidity, and luminosity, and I enjoy working with techniques such as wet-on-wet, dry brush, and glazing to balance softness with detail. I also experiment with mixed media, including inks and colored pencils, to add texture and depth.
For me, watercolor is more than a creative practice, it is a way to connect with the natural world. You can often find me in my studio, fully immersed in painting. When I’m not creating, I enjoy training, walking, cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with my husband.
I also offer custom watercolor art commissions. If you’re interested in a personalized piece, I’d love to collaborate with you.
